I believe it is to be divided, with Take A Break taking the former Perfume shop area and the former Chemists being let separately.

I understand that the Milletts shop will be closing shortly, with the business being transferred to Black's other Llandudno shop.

'Two "new" shops in Madoc Street.'

Why "new" as opposed to just new? Have they just relocated and you are being sarcastic?

Well the one is the Foundation fundraisers moving in to the old Travel Agents so they are okld and moving to a new venue.  The other is a baby clothes shop.  Why so picky Ian?

Just been told that the empty shop next to Sainsbury's (sort of) is going to be an outdoor clothing shop.  The old National Milk bar is to be a restaurant and the shop next to Millets Cotton Traders.
Now if we can just get a cinema where the North Western used to be and get the Pavilion sorted it might be great.

I wasn't being picky. It was just ambiguous the way it was written and you didn't say what the new shops were, so I was just clarifying. Fairly simple really...

No-one is going to build a Cinema in Llandudno...when there is already an 8 screen cinema in Llandudno Junction. Cinema chains base their new openings upon catchment areas and the figures wouldn't add up in a million years.

Peacocks has been sold out of Administration... to Edinburgh Woolen Mills PLC.  Article below.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-17128141

However, many stores will close with immediate effect around the country, and 33% of Peacocks Staff have been made redundant.   Very sad, because Peacocks was a profitable brand.

I cannot find a definitive list of which stores have been axed.

Work seems to have started in the old Next shop.
