Sainsburys are opening a superstore in Llandudno Junction, on the old Brickworks site behind Cineworld.

Good to see a local business expanding into the old Little Poppets shop:

Also-- how long will they close for, and will they get the trade back from Aldi?

As ASDA is part of the Wall art Empire it is logical that eventually it would become a general store in addition to its present food and clothing.  In the States, many Wallmart stores sell everything from an egg to a speedboat or a car.  A real multi department store.

CCBC's site wouldn't load the documents relating to the original application:

Hold your horses guys, the planning application is only asking to extend the times that lorries are allowed to deliver on a Sunday. This was a stipulation when original planning permission was granted, so they have to amend it. Hence why it has to go through planning. No mention of two floors etc. as far as I can see.
