They don't sell wardrobes, you need to go to Crest for that Yorkie!  ;D

Don't need wardrobes, ours are all fitted.

The shop sells second hand or maybe bankrupt stock fashion goods.

Just noticed the 'new' shop on the corner of Mostyn St and Trinity Square. Pre-owned labelled clothes. Couldn't see much as I was driving and it wasn't open.

The big sell is £2 for one item, £5 for three items and £10 for seven items.  I could get a whole new wardrobe for 25 quid.    _))*

There is often a market stall around the area and there has been a 'pop up' shop in the Bay Centre with those kind of prices. Items look to be second hand, but are on hangers and clothed in plastic !

Just noticed a new little bakery/deli tucked away in Colwyn Bay (at least I think it's new - can't remember seeing it before). It's opposite Wetherspoons, just past Penrhyn Road junction. It was closing, so I didn't get a good look inside.

Think there's a small cafe attached to it too.

Code Cosmetics lasted a year - here's the DP story when it opened a year ago.

It's always a shame when a local business doesn't make it.  :( Competiton is so intense these days, and rents/rates are a killer for everyone apart from the big corporates. I do think Business Rates should be calculated according to the turnover of the shop or parent company to make it a far fairer system for local businesses.

There is rate relief available for start up businesses I think, not sure what hoops you have to jump through to qualify for it.

Things must have been bad if they're closing before Christmas, you'd have thought they would do anything to just make it another month.

Hmm, who knows?   Perhaps the guy near the Railway Station who pays you for your sack full of old clothes, picks the best ones out and sells them again?   Just a thought!

Also, Code Cosmetics..... Badgers..... Julian Graves..... there won't be anything left open in the VC soon!

The Snowdonia Clothes shop by the library has a closing down sale and I also notice the ladies fashion shop has closed down where Forfars used to be.

When one passes the old Betty's Fabrics shop one can often hear what sounds like work going on inside. Nothing can be seen because of the wonderful painted external windows.

Which side Norman08?  The one on the same side as the post office was supposed to be earmarked for the BHF, but the signs went and new To let ones went up, so I don't know what happened there.
