I wonder how many have used the Titanic restaurant  in the last hundred years? I always think a business name should sound positive, or is it like when bad means good etc?  ???

The original Great American Disaster restaurants had the walls covered in New York Times front pages covering things such as the Wall Street Crash, the Hindenburg disaster & the assassination of JFK amongst others.  ???

There is a fantastic restaurant named the Titanic in Praia da Rocha, Algarve that we have been using for over 30 years.   Fabulous food and at reasonable prices.    ZXZ

Remember, this is the 'American Disaster', not the 'Great American Disaster'.  ;)

The full title will be American Disaster Bar and Grill

What has happened here is that a local has invested in the buiding, so the rent has been halved making viable for the Rhyl buisnessman to come into Llandudno and open up,he must be related too Holmes plaice next to the Carlton.

I had a lovely afternoon tea at Bodysgallen Hall yesterday and a walk around the grounds afterwards.  It was a nice experience and the weather was good too and it didn't break the bank either.

Glad you enjoyed your tea Hugo.

We have had drinks in two very different establishments on Lower Bridge Street in Chester today.
The first photo is a list of the beers above the fireplace in The Tap. I'm not certain but I think this could have been the old location for the Great American Disaster restaurant that was being discussed here recently. It is now a place specialising in unusual beers.

Then we went further up the street to Oddfellows Hall. This is a hotel now and it has a lovely garden restaurant at the back.
It's a place to go especially if you have an interest in interior design. It is really quirky.
Lovely place to sit out on a nice day (see second photo).
