Why don't they make one long cafe from the Empire Hotel all the way to Mostyn Champneys?   How will all these cafes survive ontside of the main tourist season?

What an oppertunity for someone to re-open the Royal hotel, the Mostyn Arms could be as a micro brewery pub,no chains,we all know how well the Albion is doing.

Best bara brith we've ever had was in a little coffee house just off the square in Montgomery. Coffee and service was excellent and the parrots were entertaining. $lol$

We had a delicious slice of Bara Brith at Steffan's cafĂ© Penceunant as we were coming down from Snowdon.  Well worth a visit for anyone who is visiting the Llanberis area.     $good$

They are pulling out all the stops to open on time but it looks to be a tough deadline. I've seen them working at 7.30am in there every day this week.

Seems like the lads from the Town House and Cross Keys have taken on the Parade, good luck.

I'd heard it was Kevin Chin? Either way that's not too bad they have done well with the Keys $good$
Maybe the carpet in there could do with a clean though. I genuinely though they had a black carpet until I looked more closely and realised it was just pure dirt.

They were still working when I walked past last night at 8pm-- looks far from finished.

My thoughts on dirty carpets-- if there is dirt that you can see what is there where you can't ?

Anyone know who it is who's moving in to that former Merrymoon on the corner? Dare I hold my breath and await the arrival of yet another American-style bar and grill?  ;D

(Not that I would turn one down in a hurry, mind you!)

I believe it's more of an ice cream parlour type cafe?

I went for lunch with my friend to the London last week and it was very nice indeed, but after a hot afternoon's shopping we decided to stop at the Cross Keys for a cold drink and I struggled to lift the chair off the sticky carpet,it was that dirty, and the furniture had seen much better days too.I won't be going back there in a hurry.
