Just when I am trying to stick up for the little guy....... :(
You're certainly doing the right thing, I like to support independent businesses too, but sometimes, I do wonder....

Apart from at home, where can you get a cup of coffee for under 50p?

Brewers Fayre do an unlimited refill coffee for about £2.50 so if you have at least six cups that works out at less than 50p a cup  ???.

Wetherspoons do likewise for only £1.30 each.  $cofffee$

Yep I saw that offer when I was in one in St Ives and thought it was good.  $good$
Also do free WIFI as well, so I figure I can go to Wethers get 8 cups of coffee for 16.25p each and download some music whilst I am there.
That's my Saturday morning sorted

Going back a good few posts but only about a couple of days ago----a dog getting a haircut every four weeks.
Fester and I have something in common. Neither of us gets our haircut every four weeks. Don't know about Fester but I go , I suppose, around every four/five months. Because I cannot be bothered to more often. Also I am not keen on Llandudnos barber shop prices of over 8 pounds when I can get the same thing (good old short back and sides) for less than 5 pounds in Colwyn Bay and down to under 3 pounds in Old Colwyn. Fortunately for me my hair grows fast so it doesn't really matter if they make a mess of it

Might be visiting Llandudno area week after next.
Do any of these places serve Camp coffee, that used to be cheap.
It is a while since I have been out for a coffee.
Dont get out much here on Mull.

I used to love Camp Coffee when I was a youngster but haven't had any or seen any for years.  I think the only camp coffee around this area would be in the Fairy Falls in Trefriw!
Seriously though Mull,  DaveR is the expert on coffee on this forum and if Dave doesn't know then no one will.
Hope that you are able to come to Llandudno and that you have an enjoyable stay while you are here.    $good$

My apologies.$cofffee$

Apparently, the cost of a large cup of coffee in Wetherspoons is only £1.15 and comes with unlimited refills.

I hated Camp Coffee but I was totally addicted to Chicory Essence!   :D $cofffee$

No news on The Parade..

But, The Queen Vic held a 'farewell' party tonight for Tom and Carol,  and I hear that the family who run Badger's Tea Room in the Shopping Centre are taking the Vic from now.

In the last few weeks though, the many hoteliers from Church Walks, who drink in The Vic have all moved en-masse to The Snowdon.
This is because Tom and Carol BARRED the lot of them, in extremely strange circumstances.... involving recording the conversations they were having in the bar!    Hmmm.

Just walked past there and had a look on the boards outside to see if they had "veggie" options on the Menu - yes - Veggie Burger (in a floured bun) with chips, peas and leaves - £9.95.  :o  Think I will be giving that one a miss.

The typography, branding and colour scheme look a right state in my humble opinion. Isn't every cafe in Llandudno a seaside cafe? It does nothing to appeal.
