Apparently the dog was also called Fang in one episode according to Google but that's me cheating.    :-[
Are there any rules on Quizes nowadays to prevent any such cheating?
With the internet and mobile phones you can find out most of the answers and even years ago, before mobile phones came in I can remember people going out of the room on some pretence and then phoning someone up for the answer.
I can't see any satisfaction being gained from doing that.

That's why I don't bother much with quizzes anymore. Someone will always cheat and you get ridiculous scores.
The only way it can be prevented is what a lot of pubs do now is to do a round of 5 or 10 questions, no phones out nobody to leave their seats then reveal the answers at the end of each round. Unfortunately I don't think any of them do it round here

I'm with you all the way on that BTR.       I can't see any point in doing a quiz if you're going to cheat, there's no satisfaction gained from winning like that.
It's a shame, as it spoils it for the others who don't cheat.

It's pleasing to see that the Seahorse Restaurant has been selected as a Finalist in the Welsh Food Awards 2015. Well done Don!  $good$

I went in Snooze Bar tonight..... it's OK.

Tastefully decorated, but a sign outside saying 'No card payments, Cash Only', surprised me..... it looks a tad amateurish, and they have been preparing this opening for over a year!

I'm sure these things will be resolved, it was very busy inside.... and I'll be giving it a few visits.

We had Dinner in Home Cookin last night, a pleasant meal and it's easy to see why it's always busy.

Avoid the chippy across the road from Gloddath church like the plague!!
It used to be good run by a really nice guy who gave good value for money.
Went in yesterday, don't know if it's been taken over or it was a mate helping him out but there was some gormless lad behind the counter, could hardly speak a word of English. There was two elderly holiday makers there already complaining about God knows what. That should have given me the clue to bolt! I ordered a large chips and cheese - £4.20....yes £4.20!

You should have seen the portion, it was a standard portion not large, there was about 2 blobs of cheese on it, literally two blobs. He didn't ask if I wanted salt and vinegar or put any on.

My missus took it back and made him put more cheese on, where he added about another 2 blobs

What a farce!

Used to be called Gardners, I think, but that was years ago.

What's the best chippy in Llandudno - all opinions welcome! I think Fish Tram Chips is excellent, myself.
