Does anyone think we should have a Forum Christmas meet up? Maybe curry club or a few beers in the King's Head?

Not a bad idea, Paddy, I like the idea of a Kings Head meetup. Anyone else interested? Any suggestions for a day/date/time?

It will need to be during the school holidays for me. I can't really drink the evenings when I have the school job in the morning as the killjoys at the council don't like me turning up half cut!

The schools break up on 20th December so I'm going to suggest Thursday, 23/12, 7pm at the King's Head.

Fester, it was just a suggestion to get the ball rolling. Chuck in a few dates when you're available and hopefully we'll eventually come up with something that's convenient for most.

Oh...right, Sorry Paddy...yes!
I just thought it was restricted by the school hols...

I'm like BlongB, I can do the vast majority of nights... no school (or work) for me at this time of year...

I wonder if Trojan will be coming home?  I know he wouldn't miss out on such an occasion,  he suggested this very thing on his last visit.  Z** Z** Z**

The Help For Heroes Xmas concert (Tuesday next, 7.30pm at Trinity) should provide an opportunity to meet a few of the forum, especally after the concert over the wine and mince pies :-))

Thats a good venue. Then at the end you can all walk up the hill to get rid of any hangovers---theres a golf course very handy. Just leave your entry fees with me at the bar
