Might not have been speed per se but I'll bet it was the acceleration.

Warning to people who might feel inclined to buy a brown coloured car, that seem to be becoming popular at the moment. I bought a brown car in the 70s, after a few weeks I realised I had purchased a turd on wheels, a very unpleasant feeling!

Oh no Neil!
Mr H bought this recently and the colour is the only thing I like about it!

It looks more towards the Bronze end of the Brown spectrum to me.
At least I had an excuse for buying a brown car, all the other colours had been sold, and I would have had to wait months for another shipload to arrive from Japan.

That Humber was built in 1927 and was in Bodnant last Thursday - I told them to park near the car park entrance where it got a lot of admiring looks.  The couple had travelled from Sussex and it took two days to get here, avoiding motorways!

Drivers in North Wales have seen some of the biggest price rises in the UK for their car insurance policy, new research has found.
Data has shown that average premiums rose across the UK by 14.6% in the past year - five time the rate of inflation at 2.9%.
But the national figure is dwarfed by the increase in Wales, which rose by an eye-watering 16.5%.

Tellytubby sent me these photos from Madeira and said that it's his hire car for the week.     &shake&

I suppose when you can afford to buy a car like that parking between the lines isn't important for the owner.

Amazing car!
Not cars but trailers. Never ceases to amaze us how many Ifor Williams trailers we see abroad.
They must have an excellent export business.

I saw this beast of a car in Conwy this week.  I'd never seen an Overfinch car before it must have cost a packet as it was a beautiful looking motor.
Shame about the colour and it could have done with a good clean

£205k according to this ... http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/land-rover/range-rover/89496/overfinch-range-rover-tops-200000

... at least the owner isn't afraid of getting it dirty, which is what a Land-Rover should be!!!
