Ah, thanks I didn't know.
Sometimes I can't view things from the UK due to copyright infringements.

Always willing to assist!   ;D

Wherever You Are (Military Wives with Gareth Malone)

When you think what these women are doing to support the British Legion and for their husbands it is marvellous.
The words were supplied by the women and the music was written by Paul Maelor from Anglesey.
The single is just over £2.50 free P&P from Amazon.
Can we make it the Christmas no 1?

I very much hope the record achieves high sales too.

I have watched previous series where Gareth Malone has taken an unlikely group of people and made them into a choir. He deserves some fitting recognition for his efforts. Amazing what can be achieved through the medium of music.

He is such an unassuming young man, but yet he seems to have perfect control over the people he teaches.
The programme shown last week from near London with the crowd of 'Toughies' including the boxer was amazing.

You are from Llandudno; it’s a quiet sleepy seaside town. Were you screaming to get out?

Yeah, pretty much. It’s touristy and full of families and day-trippers. There’s not much for someone who’s lived there for 24 years to do, if you get me. We was [colloquial conjugation] about 16 when we started this band, and we’ve been relentlessly writing and touring since then. Not because we don’t like Llandudno, just because you reach that age and it’s that kind of town where everyone knows everyone’s business and you can’t have any secrets there. We wanted to get out, but not because we hate it.

I don't care what anyone says about Cliff Richard, I still think he looks good.

Re: Other Music.....New Radio Station
« Reply #28 on: January 14, 2022, 10:00:07 am »
A NEW community radio station focusing on a wide array of dance music has been set up in North Wales, and is appealing for more volunteers to get involved.

‘Drift Radio’ has been broadcasting since going live at 11.30pm on New Year’s Eve, with a team of roughly 25 currently working at the station, which is operating as a non-profit organisation.

The station was set up by Lee Openshaw, a commercial DJ in the 1990s who has worked in radio since 2018, ‘Pure Cold’, a music producer and tour manager of American rapper Fatman Scoop, and Kevin Allen, who has a long history in dance and house music and a prominent background in IT.

Lee said the station was set up both to diversify residents’ listening options and for both volunteers and listeners to hopefully feel the mental benefits that he believes music can offer.

Lee, from Colwyn Bay, said: “We’re conscious that there’s quite a broad range of dance music, and there was nothing locally catering for those genres.

Re: Other Music......New radio services in Conwy County
« Reply #29 on: October 04, 2022, 10:29:33 am »
A COUPLE of North Wales broadcasters are celebrating today (October 3) after broadcasting regulator Ofcom awarded the operational licence for a small-scale digital radio multiplex (DAB) to their joint company.

This means that Conwy County is soon to receive a selection of new radio services ? from specialist music channels to community services and information-based stations.

?Sound Radio?, which broadcasts to East Conwy and the coastal belt between Conwy and Denbighshire on FM and Bayside Radio, which serves communities in the Bay of Colwyn on the North West Wales DAB multiplex, are working together as ?Sound Bay Community Digital CIC? (Digidol Cymunedol Sain Bae).
