Farewell to Leonard Cohen.
We said goodbye to him at a concert in Liverpool in I think 2008.
It was great to hear those songs again sung live from the man himself.

I was sad when I heard the news having been a fan for about 40 years. I was introduced to Leonard Cohen by my man friend at the time who described his songs as, "Music to slash your wrists by". Although some of them can be gloomy, this is a bit over the top.

I bought his last album and have played it frequently since. It is very funereal and it is clear that he must have been preparing for death for some while. The details on the sleeve indicate he was very ill when it was recorded and his son, Adam, had put it together for him. A sad loss.

Helig.
