A close friend of mine works there in the kitchen, he keeps saying to go up there haven't been there yet but intend to. Customers at the club have always rated it too.

You should try the actual restaurant after you've tried the kitchen. It has a seating area, and the wait staff will bring you your food.  :cyclist40:

I'd like to recommend the Aromatherapy shop on Llandudno pier. The "Cherry Bakewell" bath soap is to die for.  :__)+

Can someone recommend an external house painter? The black trim on my terraced house in Conwy is peeling and needs either touching up or re-doing. I've looked around a bit but can't find any recommendations. I should do it myself but after a few weeks of looking at it I realise I am not qualified nor motivated. Anyone?

Yorkie,  has Gareth done some work for you personally?
Can you recommend, and if so, why?

I need a decorator in a big way in the months to come....

Yorkie...
Next time you are online ... can you take a look at my question below,

Ian or Dave ..
Remember the old Forum and the need to re-arrange threads more logically?
Well,  I believe this one belongs in Ask a Local,  or Help Wanted

...And surely Quiz Time belongs somwhere other than Ask a Local?
(A cynic would say it belongs in Dave and Trojans personal messages section)

Thanks,

Fest

Yes Gareth did a job for me although it was not a massive one.  However, I have known him for some years now and I've never heard his work criticised.  On top of that he is a very pleasant chap!   ( And on top of that, he probably needs the money, as we all do!)     L0L

Might be an idea if we created a page specifically for links to businesses we know are reliable and cost-effective.

Can we ensure that if we recommend a trader, we have some personal experience of work done ... and refer to actual reasons why they are recommended.
