Thanks...  I’ll just do it on Friday, or weekend then.  Whenever the wind is less gusty.
It’s  only a couple of hours, it doesn’t take the whole day up.

Another article on PW , showing how fishermen are not helping the situation by using the sea as a dustbin.

Miles of Anglesey coastline polluted after Holyhead Marina disaster
Debris, polystyrene and fuel has washed up on beaches across the island as clean up work continues.
https://www.dailypost.co.uk/news/miles-anglesey-coastline-polluted-after-14380332

Probably coming this way, just in case a warning....."They also warned people to stay away from potentially dangerous marine flares that could wash up."

“We are also advising people to report anything unusual they may see on the nearby beaches"

“It may be the case that some pyrotechnic marine flares wash up - if anyone see anything of this nature please do not pick it up or touch it - they are very dangerous if misused or fired accidently.

“Call 999 and ask for the Coastguard so that we can dispose of it safely and properly.”

Routine annual beach clean up work starts today 19th June, to remove larger stones from Children's Corner on North Shore. It is expected to take three days to complete. Once the stones are removed the area will be surf raked to remove fine material and debris from the beach  :)

What a pity that CCBC who laughingly refer to the last piece of sand on the North Shore as "Kiddies Corner", have in their total disregard and disrespect to the rate payers of Llandudno and our Summer Visitors, failed to Rake the beach at all, so far this year. It's so bad at the moment the poor old Donkeys are traipsing backwards and forwards through masses of washed up seaweed that's been there for weeks.

Perhaps I'm getting Paranoid but it's almost as if the Council wants Llandudno to fail, a Beach flying a meaningless Blue Flag, Pavements that aren't fit to walk on, especially if you are pushing a disabled person or a child and absolutely nowhere for anyone to Park. The way it's going it's only a question of time until the Goose that lays Conwy's golden eggs dies through utter neglect.

Thank-you, Rant over.  $angry$ $angry$ $angry$

I have said for a while CCBc are trying to kill Llandudno off as a resort ,they rake from rhos point to the skip a few times a week but never do that last patch of sand on our beach, just wait till they build that 100+ bed hotel at surf snowdonia More hotels will for sale in Llandudno, already quite a few if you look. 😡

I agree with what you say Norman and it's as if Llandudno has no say when it comes to things like this.    Where are the Councillors that should be speaking out for Llandudno on these matters?
I do feel sorry for the hoteliers who are trying to make a living in the town and they are represented by no one in real terms

If Blongb doesn't mind, I'll have a rant about the West Shore:-
Is there anyone on the Coastal Defence forum or even on this entire Planet that thinks that by raising the sea wall at West Shore by 16 inches it will stop this happening?
They should admit their mistakes and sort that problem out first and make sure that they get it right in future

Why on earth is the Councillor not being more vocal about the damage inflicted on that area by their partners in crime at the CCBC?

If the problematic Sand had been dredged from the West shore and then put on the North Shore, there would have been no need for the dumped quarry waist in the first place.  {}{}

I did suggest exactly that to Councillor Priestley when he was responsible for the environment and he did say that he would think about it but that was all he did, just think about it.
Instead, the sand was still being  dumped over the sea wall and above the high water mark.      At least it keeps the Jennings workforce in regular employment
