They realised it was performing badly by mid-November, and it does seem as though the actual vaccine production process might have created a mutation beyond the usual late last year.  Whatever the reason, H3N2 is a nasty one and can be 'orrible, as Bri has found out.

Interesting aircraft, not often seen in the UK.....

V-22 Osprey: Unlike any aircraft in the world
The V-22 Osprey is a joint service multirole combat aircraft utilizing tiltrotor technology to combine the vertical performance of a helicopter with the speed and range of a fixed-wing aircraft. With its rotors in vertical position, it can take off, land and hover like a helicopter. Once airborne, it can convert to a turboprop airplane capable of high-speed, high-altitude flight. This combination results in global reach capabilities that allow the V-22 to fill an operational niche unlike any other aircraft.

Wow Ian, a very impressive piece of military hardware.
Was it as noisy as the Chinook?  That thing is deafening.
At less than 100ft above you, I’m sure it was.

That's what made us look out.  The noise was thunderingly loud.

TRAVELLERS have swiftly moved after pitching up on hospital's park and ride site.  ref Pioneer
The parking area, on the former Hotpoint factory site in Bodelwyddan, has been temporarily suspended so the area can be cleared.

"While we’re working to restore the park and ride service, we urge anyone planning on visiting the hospital over the coming days to allow more time for their journey and consider using public transport to visit the site.

Just what people going to hospital need, additional uncertainty and stress.
I was treated in Bangor hospital again this week, and I have to say, compared to English hospitals I’ve been in, the standard of care in the Welsh NHS is fabulous.
