Does anybody know what is going on with the property that used to be the Orme Court hotel on abbey road. The last time I was around that area, the building looked as though it was being gutted. Is it going to reopen as a hotel? or is it being redeveloped for some other purpose.

It's being converted into apartments. If you want to view the plans go on the Conwy County Borough Council Planning portal and put in Application 0/42376.

Obviously a spoof,  and with terrible spelling mistakes too.
The St George have been guilty of such spoofs in the past, for social media publicity purposes... they were going to buy the pier remember??

Llandudno's Tudno Castle Hotel redevelopment starts with Premier Inn, Prezzo and Beafeater coming to the site

After delays starting the multi-million pound scheme work has now commenced.
They have appointed Bowmer & Kirkland as main contractors and work has now started on the hotel and restaurants, which will create around 100 jobs once completed.

Mostyn Estates managing director Edward Hiller said: “The build period will take circa 18 months and initially repairs to the Grade 2 listed façade will take place prior to the commencement of the main build.
The hotel will have a reception area and Italian themed Prezzo Restaurant on the ground floor
and a Beafeater Restaurant on the lower ground floor.

Tudno Castle will be a 63 bedroom hotel .
Has there been any mention of car parking for the guests and staff or have I missed something.
Also parking needed for the diners and other staff on the site.

If it is anything like Travelodge Parking is a free for all---chaos. People walk miles when they discover that there isn't a single allocated parking place and they end up nearly at West Shore.
Mad, Bad and Dangerous to know.
