The latest from the workforce at the Clarence, this morning is that they have been told to remove and replace the architraves from all 82 bedroom doors as there is too bigger gap there. I'm beginning to wonder just who is behind all this !

Surely the door frames have intumescent strips fitted as standard?

Something to do with the gap left at the bottom and the fact that the cleaners would have to insert the nozzle of the vac. into the space. :o

They've transformed the building, and the work is to a very high standard. The restored iron canopy along the frontage looks great too.

It's to reopen as the Llandudno Bay Hotel, after a complete refurbishment.

Only having been there once to a meeting a refurb sounds good ! Didn't touch anything on the buffet provided, so I will leave it to your imagination !

The Alexandra Hotel, (Bless it), had a makeover, and the benefit of TV expert Alex Polizzi to turn the business around.

One of the key tasks the owner had to tackle, was to refrain from ranting 'Basil Fawlty' style at any negative reviews he received on Trip Advisor.   I watched the documentary again today, and it seemed like that issue had been resolved.

However, I then clicked on TA, and it seems that he is back up to his old tricks again...take a look here,  hilarious.
