I saw that article on BBC News online today.... it's incredibly sad to see the dereliction of so many fantastic structures.

Particularly poignant I thought were Birbeck Pier, and the Ironwork Colonnade in Brighton.

Well worth a look.

If you could get in it would be fantastic,  one could spend an entire day exploring it, but still not really do it justice.

Indeed, this aerial photo shows how vast it is:

When we had a walk along the front in Llanfairfechan  we passed some nice art deco style properties with immaculate gardens.   One in particular was our favourite and it had a nice conversion at the rear of the property.
A lovely location on a nice day like today but I bet it's quite exposed there in the Winter

Think they are some of Herbert Luck North designed houses - absolutely stunning.

You are right Jack and it's also a listed building.  I drove down West Shore Llanfairfechan which is where that little cottage with the balcony and eyebrow window is and it's a lovely building.
The front garden was truly immaculate and it must take a lot of care and maintenance to keep it looking so perfect.
After that we had a drive around "The Close"  which was designed by the builder that Jack mentioned.    Everything in the street is listed, even the post box stuck in the stone pillar and I would recommend it for a visit some time, if anyone hasn't already seen the street.
I didn't take any photos of The Close this time though.

They seem to be on top of each other. Very closely spaced.

How  much !! £695,000 !!!!!!! For a 3 bedroom house, no garage, parking like a supermarket car park!  Oh and they are far too close together and they look hideous ! Nice view though!  Bonkers, totally bonkers !  &shake&

I'm sure these monstrosities were designed by primary school children using Lego, in fact I will refer to it as Lego land ! However was this allowed ?

The focus these days is on squeezing more and more houses onto every plot of land. It's not just Developers trying to do it, the Govt is actively encouraging them.

Not what I would expect for a house costing £695,000, I would expect much more space , large garden and at least a double garage for that budget!
