must have been loads of burst pipes  in town today  never seen so many welsh water vans

It looked to me as if they may have had a meeting in Venue Cymru this morniing.

It was a meeting this afternoon Bri, the Welsh Tories launched their manifesto for the May election to the Welsh Assembly. Their candidate is Janet Finch-Saunders

It was a beautiful sunny day in Llandudno and the prom was packed with people. As I was driving along I could see a lot of Porsche cars on the prom so I hope someone from the Forum has taken a few photos to go on here.    :)

Tonight after work, it was an idyllic evening, so Mrs Fester and I packed a bottle of wine and a picnic in the rucksack and off we went.

We walked up to the Orme summit, and then accross to Angelsea Road back via the narrow paths high up above Lys Helig Drive.

As the sun set, we were counting our blessings, and I took these pictures of the sun going down from the vantage point of our picnic spot.

We are so lucky living in the area we do.  I'd hate to live in a city, I really would.  Nice pics Fester  ;D

Can anyone tell me how any body seems to be able to come in to Mostyn Street and sing/play/yell without being moved on?  in London you have to have a street performers licence but here it seems anyone can appear and launch forth. Last week some over amplified woman was screeching outside Jessops.  Today a bloke is playing the bagpipes outside St. John's church. No one seems to come and move them on.  Back in the day we had two bye laws inspectors, do you remember them?  Couldn't put any displays outside shops beyond the verandah etc. etc.

Llandudno used to be so nice.

_))* are you referring to that old lady accompanied by the little Pug dog that sits on a blanket thoroughly unimpressed.  Or the other guy who reminds me of Father Francis by Marks.  :o

Yes I was!   Got the whole works - tried it all on - and decided I looked like a poor version of a Scottish , haggis eating, caber tosser - a tosser anyway!     L0L    As much as I like haggis, I decided it wasn't for me so the whole lot went back and my bank balance benefitted from the refund.
