They are repairing the sewers, not sure how long for, but Bodhyfrid Road is to be closed from March 1st for months, due to work on the Clarence. I have still to find out what the businesses which include Tom Owen are supposed to do vehicle wise. I hope he isn't going to be expected to maneuver his hearse and limos backwards and forwards in a limited space, let alone his poor clients.

Think the sewer work is only for a week or so.

The chaos and 15 mins to pay in M&S and the calm and no wait to pay in Asda.
I can't believe I am saying this because until I came to live here I was an M&S junkie but the chaos around the tills in M&S in Llandudno is enough to put off the most ardent supporter.

They'll have to buck their ideas up once Sainsburys open.

The food is mostly still excellent. We have just eaten the £20 Valentine's dine in meal which I queued up for for so long today.
Prawns with garlic butter, whole sea bass with chilli, peas and beans, chocolate souffle, a bottle of Cava and heart shaped chocolates. $dins$

Did anyone see the Tram being hauled through town yesterday afternoon, with 'Mandy, Be My Valentine' written on the side of it?

This story was "splashed" on the front page of last week's Weekly News with an appeal to readers to write to the chief fire officer demanding it be retained.

House fire on Trinity Ave this morning:

I saw the aftermath of that fire today.
A lot fire brigade staff still mooching around at noon today, when I went by.

Just been past the Clarence Hotel, a lot of the first floor windows are open and there is newly sealed up doorway on the ground floor. Not another arson attempt, I hope, especially when they're so close to starting work.

This may not be far from the truth, have a look at the make up of the "Executive Group" on the Fire Service website.
Rhyl is in Denbighshire; the chair of the Authority (and chair of the Executive) is a Denbighshire Cabinet Member from Prestatyn! The vice-chair is from Anglesey.  Rhyl and Bangor are proposed to keep their aerial ladders.  This is entirely coincidental.
