No disrespect intended to any Forum member who parted with their hard-earned,... but one look at these reprobates should have been enough to realise that they were not students.

Firstly they were not Chinese, and secondly they looked more like prostitutes.

Are prostitutes always that old ? Students aren't usually.  ;D ;D ;D

We ignored them as we walked past despite one of them pleading us to buy.

The County Parking Wardens could be deployed in ridding the town of these nuisances.   Once upon a time we did have Bye-Laws Inspectors to deal with such matters.

I can only assume that somebody met your demands as Mrs Medz saw you on the bus down into town.

Indeed!
The bus fare has gone UP yet again.... a 50% increase in the last 2 years.  Its a scandal.
In fact there was only me on the bus who WAS paying!

I debated this with the driver, who told me he worked an eight hour shift on Sunday... (around LLanrwst), his bus was quite full most of the time, but his total takings amounted to £13.00.  Its totally unsustainable.

Beer and Steak was indeed consumed this evening.

Remember that Arriva do receive a substantial subsidy for operating services like the 19 up to the Great Orme. In fact, they receive money twice...once from CCBC for operating a little used service like the 19 and again from WG for things like the Pensioners Bus Pass.

As well all know, the No.73 operated empty or with only 1 or 2 passengers most of the time - its retention certainly couldn't be justified if no-one used it!

Steak (in the Fat Cat) was very good. We were considering having a Chinese when we were sat in Caffe Nero but the Fat Cat won out as usual.

Jolly and sunny!
I drove down out of the inland gloom today to do my shopping in a lovely sunny Llandudno. It was quiet as well, parked where I needed to and didn't even have to queue too long in M&S.
Not good for the businesses I suppose but very pleasant for the customers.

Late news - someone has stolen all the WC's in the Town Hall.  When asked what happened, the Mayor said that , so far we have nothing to go on!    :D

One Councillor stated that it was an Irish dwarf with one eye named Murphy - apparently they don't know what the other eye is called.     ;D

I'm usually a defender of the NWWN but have to say that this weeks was very poor. Surely the serious road accident in Rhos should have been the front page story? Why would the front page story encourage anyone to buy a NEWSpaper?
