On this day last year, Mrs Fester and I had a picnic in the early evening, sitting on the grass looking across to Anglesey from the Gt Orme.  That was after working all day, on a sunny pier, busy with early season visitors.
How different the weather is this year!

Tonight, from my vantage point on the Gt Orme, I could see that it didn't seem to be snowing too heavily down in Llandudno, but it was really coming down up our way.
So, Mrs Fester and I set off to survey the weather, just as the light was fading around 6.30pm.
The pictures below show Mrs Fester practising her golf swing, outside Mike's Golf Course...(near the 7th tee I think)
Then there is a view from Anglesea Road, down to a gloomy West Shore.
Followed by a view across the Gt Orme slopes.
Finally, there is me, stand at the foot of Killen's Hill, near the tram tracks.
Not exactly 'Spring like' weather, I'm sure you'll agree.
Fester...

Yes, unbelievable! Spring arrived on Thursday and it is not fit for purpose! So tomorrow I'm sending it back for a full refund or a working replacement, otherwise I'm off to BBC Watchdog or ITV's Ferret!

In my new capacity of interim Forum photographer, (ahem)... I once again set off to investigate the state of the snow in Llandudno.
Below, you can see the archetypal view of the bay, and despite being dismal, there is very little snow down in town.
However, the 2nd photo is taken on the path between Rofft Place and Haulfre Gardens, (in the woods), you can see a lot of snow has fallen on the Gt Orme.
Thirdly, the Orme goats decided to get in on the act.
Lastly, a view looking up my garden, which is melting now so the birds can get fed, but was fully covered in snow earlier today.

Saturday morning brought with it the usual snowy chaos as cars tried to get up the hill and failed.

about 9:30 am. The two cars by the traffic lights are just left stuck waiting for the gritter to come.
