There were a lot of comments on this thread criticising the council over the poor state of the flowerbeds both along the Prom and throughout the town. It happens every year as the early planting is replaced with the new summer flowers.
I think we were talking about shrubbery actually, rather than summer bedding. There isn't actually much summer bedding along the Prom anymore, as it has mostly been replaced with shrubbery and perennials which are currently dying off due to a lack of watering.
I wonder how CCBC managed to find the millions to buy an office block in Colwyn Bay when they were supposedly so strapped for cash?
Saw this today on the Prom, coincidentally, a weed and rubbish filled area of shrubbery. How does such a complete lack of maintenance tie in with the council's 'Destination Conwy' plan, I wonder?
