Just caught a long distance view of what looked like a Spitfire giving a short display over North Shore?
Someone mentioned that a Anthony Hodgson sometimes flies over,?
Or am I missing something.

To who? The pensioners who come here don't have Iphones

Really? Many I meet certainly do, and iPads.

Both of my parents have iPhones and my dad also has an iPad. (My hand-me-downs)
However, I'm not saying they know how to use them!

I saw it about 10 o'clock SteveH, as I was walking to town. it was doing all sorts of loops, rolls and various other acrobatics out over the bay. It flew off towards Anglesey after about ten minutes.

Well SDQ and Ian have put me in my place! Must just be the pensioners in my family that are technophobic then!  ;D
Still don't think anyone will buy it - I suppose we'll have an idea by the number of ratings it gets in the i tunes store

Alice in Wonderland tourism app launched in Llandudno ...........AGAIN

The original launch of the app in August was delayed after key figures for tourists to follow were altered.

Company director Barry Mortlock said: "I've lived in Llandudno for 36 years now, and it worried me that the town wasn't doing enough in recent years to celebrate its links with the real life Alice.

"The app is now ready for next year's important anniversary.

"It has the potential to attract more visitors from overseas, where there's a huge interest in the Alice in Wonderland stories."

Graham Rees, Conwy council's cabinet member for tourism, said: "This will be a huge asset to Llandudno and
really enhance what we can offer to visitors."

I have been grinding my teeth over this ever since the whole thing began. The amount of money could have been spent in a far better way and also where is the rest of the scheme?

Why is it far?
I understood naively, that the cost of the app. was about £10,000, I have just found this old post from the 10/3/14 on this thread....

"- Alice Trail Ltd is currently funded from public money that is our money!
Conwy County Borough Council 65K
Visit Wales  80K
Llandudno Town Council  7K
CYFENTER 43K
Alice Trail Ltd are already drawing down salaries from these funds."

So that totals...£195,000   please tell these figures are wrong.

This morning I noticed there was an earth moving machine back on the promenade clearing the new slipway which had started to look more like a skateboard ramp. Wonder how often this will need doing?
