They have the power to threaten you with arrest,  they cannot arrest you.

What they 'threaten' to do, is call the police if you fail to comply with their demands for a fixed penalty.

Now, given that they are paid in relation to how many people they fine, and given that the Police custody suite is in St Asaph, I am sorely tempted to put them to the test.
Wouldn't it be great to tie them up all day in St Asaph, making statements etc.... thus ensuring that they earn a non-viable amount for the entire day.

Can you or admin point us to the original discussion on here about these lot. It would help Tom as well. A lot of good points both for and against them were made at the time.

I watched a young family by bog island the other day the little lad had just come from school showing a friend his paintings they blew off in the wind ,the little lad was crying thinking he,d lost them ,one piece landed at the feet of an elderly lady, the bully boy ran over the road laughing (here,s another easy target ) unlucky for him the dad got there before him took it back thanking the lady ,bully not very happy ,    Have read about this company they employ ex police and service men if that is so here their not a very good advert ,homeless guys look tidier .

Nope it was raised by you. No idea which thread. I made a statement somewhere along the lines of 'seen as how we have a scum thread these should be in it' But they never were in that thread.

Litter wardens thread was "obstacles to Tourism".  The post about the two young girls getting fined on the pier (if that was the original post) is on page 21.

The grass in Craig Y Don Park was looking very unkempt yesterday.

On the positive side, the gardens along the Prom have been receiving lots of (badly needed) new planting ahead, no doubt, of the Wales In Bloom Judges Visit.

I sincerely hope that photo was photoshopped, otherwise I fear we will be combing the bay for wreckage of the plane...
