Any idea who came into Llandudno today, about 3.30 with a police escort?

I for one have no idea.  But I don't suppose I would have. I've lost touch with most of my underworld friends since shifting towards Llandudno.

If it was on the A55 you saw them its probably 'someone' connected to the trial in Caernarfon

No, on Bryniau Road, heading towards the Orme.
6 Police bikes then a white Audi estate, followed very closely behind by an unmarked police car.

I saw it between Ruthin and Denbigh but pretty sure that was on Wednesday not yesterday, around lunchtime

Were they British police?  ??? If not could have been Gutto with his Mossad agents tracking down internet bullies.   :-*

Broadway Boulevard purchase was decision of the "heart"

The new owners of the former Broadway Boulevard nightclub in Llandudno say they will work with the community to decide what to do with the “iconic” site.

MBI Hotels, part of the MBI Consulting group, have bought the landmark Grand Theatre for £140,000 but said their purchase was a decision of the “heart” rather than their normal commercial deals.

Excellent show, attrracting loads of people and the weather couldn't have been much better - well done Llandudno and Mostyn Estates.

But whoever was in charge of traffic management in Bodafon Fields really needs a kick up the backside.  Just arrived home after taking 1 hour 50 minutes to get off the field.  Was there a plan, if so it needs serious review - trying to get all those cars out of one exit?

I had to go to Asda this morning took about 20 mins going past Bodafon field due to how slowly cars were going in! Went home a different route! Good to have the airshow though!

Whoever was in charge of traffic management full stop needs sacking.  We got stuck in a one mile traffic jam on the A470 between Glan Conwy and the A55 which was caused by all the traffic clogging up the Black Cat roundabout so the effects of the chaos this event caused spread many miles outside Llandudno.  Every route into Llandudno was absolute chaos, there were people abandoning cars here, there and everywhere with no regard for anyone else - my in-laws had to spend the day chasing away ignoramuses who thought it was acceptable to park across their drive and in some cases park in such a way that would have completely blocked their road!  Around town motorists appeared to driven demented, while walking along the promenade I saw several cars drive straight through pedestrian crossings when there were pedestrian halfway across.  What I didn't see was a single steward making any effort to control this nightmare  $angry$.  When I went to the Llandudno Junction busking festival there was a steward on every road junction helping to keep the traffic flowing.  Llandudno doesn't have the logistics to host events of this scale at the best of times, there aren't enough roads in and out of town and nowhere near enough parking, so if events like this have to happen then at least make sure they're properly stewarded to minimise the effects it has on local people trying to go about their normal lives.  Somebody needs to be held to account and lessons need to be learned.

Hate to dissolution you Fat Andy, but this problem with inconsiderate parking is nothing out of the ordinary. Every weekend is the same, the access to our garage, car space and car park is blocked by cars lined up down the narrow lane, two wheels on the pavement, two in the road way. Our neighbour even had some cheeky soul parked in his own private car park. The police won't shift them, so we have to abandon the idea of using our car at weekend.
