I think Mostyn estates are moving their workshop from Broadway to the old North Wales joinery workshop so expect maybe a planning application for somethink on the Broadway.

Stornoway ferry "Loch Seaforth" now going round the windmills.
She also has been in Birkenhead for about 3 weeks and is overdue back into service.
If it carries on like this Calmac will be short of a large ferry for start of next years Summer service.
Now all the fares have been reduced by 50/60% with Road Equivilant Tarriff (RET) we will need all the ships in service to cope with all you holidaymakers taking advantage of it.
How the single track roads on Mull will cope. Holyrood not thought that through.

I was informed by a town Councillor that, due to some trouble breaking out in a Madoc Street pub on Friday, the alcohol license for the Xmas Fayre was revoked.
However, on Saturday I was told that it was actually due to the Fayre organisers having applied for the WRONG type of license, and had it been revoked for that reason.

Whatever the reason, the license was pulled, and the stall holders who were affected were spitting feathers on Saturday.
No mulled wine, no craft beers, nothing.
What a state of affairs.   &shake& &shake&

We had a quick look at the xmas fair yesterday, nothing much of interest to us, but what was the point of the pay stations? Why would anyone pay £1.50 when you can walk down the road for free?  ???

You paid your £1.50 and were given a paper band glued round your wrist which you had to show to get into the tents. I went on Thursday mainly to support Hope House who were selling Christmas cards squashed in the porch of the church ( free entry there!), but found the tents very busy, especially the huge one. Much the same as usual, but more spread out and more food for sale. Didn't buy anything, but have done my bit by knitting Christmassy bits to sell in the shop.
Mad, Bad and Dangerous to know.

We didn't go in the tents, big queues and I have little interest in food anyway!

Bit like the Conwy Feast, tents packed, cant get near the counters for freeloaders trying to eat the entry costs in free samples.

The Xmas Fayre got slammed very badly on it's own Facebook page, by customers and stall holders alike.

This scaffolding is to the rear of The Grand Hotel, looking at it from the Pier today.

Some work going on which is nice to see, but I can't help but admire the bravery of those who erected it!

Colourful cloud formations in Llandudno earlier this morning, looked like a nuclear explosion, a bit like the sunsets recently. Make the most of the sunlight, it looks like a miserable couple of days to come according to the local forecast.

Stunning.  And you're right about the nuclear explosion.

The recent bouts of heavy rain have once again highlighted the poor state of the drains in Llandudno Town Centre. There was heavy flooding around the Carlton Roundabout the other day and also along Mostyn Street by W H Smith. In many cases, it is simply a case of the drains not being cleared of leaves and other rubbish on a regular basis.

This type of thing doesn't help with the drainage of the town.
