Dave is absolutely right, my apologies, I now understand that it IS now an offence not to your dog on a lead on the pavement under the local byelaws enacted by Conwy Council under the Dog Control Orders (Prescribed Offences and Penalties, etc.) Regulations 2006 and the Dog Control Orders (Procedures) Regulations 2006, which implement sections 55 and 56 of the Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act 2005.

Even if the enacted regulations appear to be a sledgehammer to crack a nut, the enforcement is ludicrous and alienating decent members of the public. Remuneration based on the number of penalties issued for is known to be an appalling methodology of enforcement; the type of people employed to be 'enforce' these type of regulations are the equivalent of wheel clampers, who will use any triviality to enhance their own salary, usually minimal, to enhanced by their results.

This method of enforcement of should itself be made illegal.

If that's the case why don't they go on the cycle path by Conwy beach? They'd make a mint there! Full of dogs running around off leads chasing (very slow) runners like myself.
I don't want to give them any ideas though  $angry$ seems they extort enough off people already

Stop winging and run faster.

All right, it was supposed to read 'whingeing'... Its been one of those really irritating days when nothing whatsoever has gone to plan, there's no one to blame but yourself, and to cap it all, Michael Gove is on TV.
Being negative only makes a difficult journey more difficult. You may have been given a cactus, but you don't have to sit on it.

There is also scaffolding and blue netting all over the front of the Tudno Castle and I cannot remember if it has been there all the time or was it taken down?

Hopefully, someone will put me right or I won't sleep tonight.

It's been there all the time.....  $good$  sleep tight......I do not think the scaffolding or the building is safe enough to allow any work, the scaffolding at the rear was torn down and scrapped rather than allow the normal dismantling process.

Are you sure that it wasn't a huge gull which had passed by?
