...1-Rob-1 left the forum recently. and made his position very clear as to why.

And don't forget that astonishingly good contributor - Ludo - who also made his position very clear as to why.

Not too sure that he did?...and he did make a welcome comeback, albeit brief.

But, if you're keeping score, you are winning courtesy of BrumBob.    Ahhh, I miss BrumBob.

Indeed, I have seen him and his delightful wife only a few weeks ago, always a pleasure!

A prominent member visiting hospital

One of the influential members of the forum is having to have a visit to hospital to have what is nowadays a "small" operation. Keyhole surgery. Only a matter of days and he (it is a he) will be back with us. But no treatment and all sorts of nasty things will happen.
He told me the other day. He didn't say not to tell anyone. But then again he didn't say to shout about it. So I cannot reveal his name. But I am sure you would wish to join me in wishing him the best of luck and come back to us soon. He will read this in the forum. Mike

Hmmm... Keyhole surgery - "small" operation - addressing potential consequences if left untreated - Male... Sounds suspiciously like a hernia op to me.

But we can't wish anyone well if we don't know who it is, Mike.

Not really an influential member but at least an avid reader. The member in question is me unfortunately. I'm booked in at The Christie in Manchester next week to have Robotic Keyhole surgery on early stage Prostate Cancer.
