Absolutely loved seeing your old photos Merddin Emrys - thank you!  :)  $good$

I wish i could find the one of my mum sat by the rabbit statue in the 50s... that set a precedent for me to be obsessed with having pics with it myself growing up!

As for other LL pics, i've plenty i've taken.. i'll have a rummage through what i already have uploaded from a forum i used to be on a few years ago - not uploaded/shared much for a while (still wish one day i could set up a proper pro photography sales thingy with a  lot of my stuff, always doubt i'm good enough mind and can never face the rejection heheh!!!)

edited to add some one - i logged in to my old photobucket account and had a look through for any of LL (and Conwy) i'd taken....  $walesflag$

So here's a tiny selection of mine...  :o

not sure why i made these 2 uploads slightly bigger - i always used to put my pics on the old forum i was on on a set size so i don't know! Anyway...

ok, that's a quick selection... hope you like them!

Please don't repost them elsewhere - sounds daft seeing as i've shard them on here but i don't like to spread my pics around online!

oh and here's my kitchen wall at home!

Very nice, Pebbles. I particularly liked the long exposure night shots. Very good. Thanks for sharing them with us.  If I could make one suggestion it would be to use some form of straightening tool.  One or two have a slightly 'off-level' horizon which is easy to fix in most photo tweaking apps. But that's only a minor thing.

2 from 2005 that i posted do ever so slightly, sorry i didn't fix it and it ruined your viewing. I haven't made that mistake since 2005 but good to see there's a reason why i haven't bothered to try and sell them cos yes people pick up on stuff like that!!! :(

(sorry, i know that reads angry... it's just i can't believe when i posted that i get shy about sharing pics that you pick up that 2 have a ever so slightly and i mean only slightly off horizon... when i tried to fix it at the time the rotate made it too far the other way, so hey i figure it's a nice view, there's place in Manchester that has 20 of mine them on their wall - my one and only sale that i ever tried, and they don't mind including the first one i posted above! I've posted over a hundred on a forum (over the years) full of professional photographers who sell their work and are tons better than me, none of them ever called me on slightly wonky horizons as they are the only 2 pictures ever done with it anyway!)

I'm really sorry if I upset you, P. I did enjoy the pics, but with horizons if they're even slightly out of kilter they show up in the image rather glaringly, with the frame being so square. I was trying to be helpful, as it took me a long time when I was doing pics to realise that taking a lot of time to get them exactly level made a huge amount of difference.  Like you, I wasn't happy when folk pointed it out, but I'm glad they did, now, since it's made a lot of difference to my photos.  The shots are excellent in the main. A little levelling would make them perfect. And it didn't 'ruin my viewing'; far from it.

yeah ok i'll calm down BUT as i said i have not took a single picture with a wonky horizon in about 10 years!!! So i don't need to "learn" how to fix it..
Just cos i didn't bother to retweek the mini tiny version i put on a forum about 8 years ago and made the mistake of sharing that old link on here... well!

 ;)

(i accept the marine drive sunset is too wonky, it bugs me so i don't mind that one bugging you!!) (But like i said, it's an old link to a tiny version of a 10 year old photo, and getting straight horizons is something i take seriously ever since 2006! I've never done it!)

It does bring back a lot of memories Spotty Dog and all of the memories are good apart from the time SDQ opened the valves on a tide in full flo.     I bet my mate Simon will always remember that day!

Just in case my memory is playing tricks, was the photo taken before or after the sea defence of 1993 was built?          ;D

I was talking to an old waterboard engineer the other day ,and he was telling me about the stream that ran from Jacksons lane to west shore.ihe was wondering where it runs now the sand has covered the outlet pipe. The same applies to the cycle path in Deganwy three or more pipes used to drain station road with flap valves on to shut them at high tide

I remember that stream very well, it ran on the opposite side to the farm and then through the fields to the top of Builder Street.   When the estate was built it went in concrete pipes under Conway Road and the estate and then I think it ran along the railway track towards Deganwy
Where about is the outlet pipe that the sand has covered?

I never went in those pipes at all,  I remember the one at Conway Road more clearly but didn't even go into it.

I don't know if you can remember Norman but years ago Builder street came to an end at the ditch and a number of large wooden railway sleepers formed a bridge across it and you crossed over it to get to Marian Road.
At the time Builder Street West was an unmade cinder track road that went to a dead end as far as the undertaker's place or the laundry
