Wales 3    Russia 0

What a great game to watch if you were a Wales supporter.  They dominated the game throughout and one of the best performances I've seen from a Welsh team.

England 1   Iceland  2

An unexpected victory for Iceland that only has  a total population of only  just over 300,000.  Although Joe Hart could be blamed for the second goal England's players did not play to their potential.

Wales play Belgium later this week and the Belgium team are running into form so I hope that both teams play well and that it's a good game

England were utter garbage, and this was the most embarrassing defeat in the history of international football.
In fact, they have been consistently rubbish for precisely 50 years.
However, Wales journey is much more exciting and there is nothing to stop them going all the way!

Hugo, you are being far too polite. That is the understatement of the year. They were absolutely pathetic. What a depressing week for England in more ways than one.
I hope that Wales can get to the final and win if only to show just what can be done with enthusiasm and endeavour.

Wales were fantastic against Russia but struggled badly against Northern Ireland. I hope they can win but think it will certainly not be easy!!

Dave, you know nothing of football.
Therefore you are eminently qualified for the vacant position of England manager.

Good luck Wales....    $walesflag$

In the meantime England search for a new manager and oh yes a new prime minister.

Here is a video of Eric Cantona putting himself forward for the job!
