Cyber crime, drug abuse and speeding are just some of the issues that will face Wales' newly elected police and crime commissioners (PCCs).
Voters go to the polls on May 2 to pick Wales' four new PCCs - one for each police force.
The elected officials will help ensure their police forces function effectively, but they do not get involved in day-to-day decision making.
BBC Wales News visited the neighbouring coastal towns of Rhyl and Prestatyn, in Denbighshire, to see what people want their commissioner to focus on.

« Last post by Hugo on Today at 10:05:09 am »My suet cake feeder which I put in the hedge at a height of about 5 feet had vanished this morning but then I found out that the Badger had been and taken it. My next door neighbour's security light had come on and he came outside to investigate it and saw the Badger who ran off leaving the Suet cake feeder on the ground. So at least I don't have to buy another one 
On another note, the weather recently has been suitable for mowing the lawn, which was good because I've loads of Dandelions in the lawn. I set the blades on a very low cut but when I finished mowing the lawn the yellow flowers of the Dandelions were still there.
There are over 240 varieties of Dandelions and I reckon that I must have the variety with the shortest stem,

The zoo reports a Facebook page called 'Zoo Tickets' has been fraudulently impersonating the zoo to promote a fake '95th birthday' ticket offer.
It adds the Facebook page goes on to ask for users' personal details and financial information.
The zoo, in a statement, said: "Any ads you?ve seen on Facebook from ?Zoo Tickets?, and the website that has been set up to run alongside them, are entirely fake. They are impersonating us and using our good name to promote a bogus offer, which goes on to ask for your personal details and financial information.

The site was snapped up by London-based property developers Imperial Developers Ltd last summer, having laid empty since 2010.
Planning permission for the Grade II listed building to be converted into 21 flats and four ?quirky? retail units was granted back in 2016.
With the renovation of the site underway, the project has now suffered a setback after certain conditions related to site drawings were not met.
The drawings are related to the location of certain elements of the building, with the council saying the current plans would have a ?significant detrimental impact? on the site.

A POPULAR caf? has now opened its nautical gift shop.
In March, the Pioneer reported that Coast caf? bar & gift shop had acquired 1-3 Rhos Road, in Rhos-on-Sea.
Darren Randle, owner of Coast caf? bar and gift shop, told the Pioneer at the time: "It will be an expansion of the caf?. It was part of the Rhos caf? when we opened seven years ago.
"This new premises will be the gift shop - it will be coastal themed and we can move more seats into the main caf?."
On offer at the gift shop is nautical home accessories and gifts.

Cases of whooping cough are at their highest levels for nearly a decade
Whooping cough is on the rise again after March saw the highest rate of the potentially ?dangerous? disease for ten years, Public Health Wales warned. Statistics revealed there were more cases in Wales in one week of March 2024 than the whole of 2021 and 2022 combined.
Now pregnant women and those with young children are being urged to get a vaccine as the disease, also known as the 100-day cough, continues to spread in the community. Public Health Wales figures show there were 55 reported cases of whooping cough in 2021, 55 in 2022, and 199 in 2023.
But in the four weeks from March 4 there were 315 cases. This included 122 cases in a single week, starting March 11, - more than 2021 and 2022 combined. The actual numbers are likely far higher as many cases go unreported.
Regional figures aren?t available for 2024, but North Wales, the area covered by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, had the joint highest number of whooping cough cases in Wales in 2021, the highest number in 2022, and the second highest number in 2023.

Linney Cooper, which is based in Llandudno with a showroom in Rhos-on-Sea, started from humble beginnings in Colwyn Bay in 1964.
The family-run business was founded by Robert Hughes in his basement, supplying residents with bespoke carpets and rugs.
Robert?s sons and nephew joined in 1987 with his youngest grandson Dewi Hughes continuing the family tradition.
