Morning all,

Been living here since 2007 (moved from Yorkshire). Have enjoyed reading the forum for some time ands now thought I stop being a 'lurker' and become a contributor.

I am now a full-time writer and publish my work for Amazon Kindle.

Hello, my name is Sylvia, I live in Canada but went to Colwyn Bay Grammar School 1966.  My parents owned the old Tudor Cafe in Rhos-on-Sea and we lived above it.  I remember many of the shops on Penrhyn Avenue, Pryce's Grocery, Pierce's butcher's shop next door to us, the old Cinema across the street, Garstang's yard across the street.  The chippy around the corner, the fruit and veg shop next to it.  I have lived in Canada for the last 40 years but I have always felt that Wales was my true home and I go back and visit every 2 or 3 years.  How things have changed!

Hello Sylvia, welcome home...... Yes I remember those places and your cafe,and the cinema with the double seats on the back row  ;)  were you part of the Rhos pool crowd?( I think I am a few years older than you,so maybe not)
A friend of mine from Rhos, Len McMahon moved to Canada B.C. late sixties, did you know the family?.
