The Noblest Game is an excellent discourse and pictorial record of the Noble Art compiled by Neville Cardus and John Arlott.

Following a forward by Neville Cardus the book contains 64 Full Page prints in Monochrome and Colour of People, Places and Events through the years.  Each 13" x 9" Plate has its own description and details of the person or event.  Such people as Dr W G Grace, Lillywhite, Spofforth, Sir Spencer Ponsonby-Fane, Thomas Hope, Alfred Mynn and N Felix, Wisden and others. Some charactures by such as SPY and APE.
The Plates are all suitable for framing.
Original Edition printed in 1969 by Harrap        Reprinted in 1986 by Harrap

I have a number of each book all in excellent condition except for some slight edge rubbing to some dust jackets.

This is a rare opportunity to buy a lovely collectable item for yourself or as a present.

Delivered to Three Towns Area First Edition  £25.00,  Reprinted Edition   £20.00
