The average speed cameras in North Wales and why they are there
They are there for safety and air quality reasons but thousands of drivers get hit with fines every year

I with they would trial the A55  expressway through the 50 mph stretch through Colwyn Bay as it is like a race track on most days

Britain’s only funicular, or cable-hauled, tramway will reopen to passengers on March 27. It will run seven days a week until early November.

Ahead of the attraction's return, the council are urging motorists to be mindful and to take note of the access restrictions along Old Road.

A spokesperson for Conwy County Borough Council said: "With public safety our highest priority and over 40 trams a day travelling the route up the Orme, Tramway Manager, Luke Stevenson, asks that motorists take note of the access restrictions along Old Road.

Conference to discuss future of North Wales chapels
Clergy, charity and business leaders and building specialists will be among those attending to discuss the future of chapel buildings.

The conference, at Gloddaeth Church on April 2, has been called by the Presbyterian Church of Wales, whose general secretary, the Rev Nan Powell-Davies, from Mold, said it was an important event on an issue which urgently needed to be tackled.

“At present, we own 800 buildings including chapels and houses, and the work of managing and maintaining them is falling on fewer faithful and elderly members in our congregations,” she said
It was sad to see this empty Chapel in Trefriw being vandalised and the building could be put to better use by allowing it to be converted into affordable accommodation for local people living in the Trefriw area
