Conference to discuss future of North Wales chapelsClergy, charity and business leaders and building specialists will be among those attending to discuss the future of chapel buildings.
The conference, at Gloddaeth Church on April 2, has been called by the Presbyterian Church of Wales, whose general secretary, the Rev Nan Powell-Davies, from Mold, said it was an important event on an issue which urgently needed to be tackled.
“At present, we own 800 buildings including chapels and houses, and the work of managing and maintaining them is falling on fewer faithful and elderly members in our congregations,” she said
It was sad to see this empty Chapel in Trefriw being vandalised and the building could be put to better use by allowing it to be converted into affordable accommodation for local people living in the Trefriw area
